CYNTHIA FLETT
Cynthia is a Weetiko Cree Two-Spirit parent, located in a fly-in reservation 547 kilometres from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Cynthia has spent most of her teenage years fighting the teachings in a spiritual and emotional sense while trying to make sense of all the shifts and changes that come with adulthood.
As she grew to be a young adult practicing the teachings. The struggle that comes from being an angry teenager grew to have a gentler understanding of all the chaos and growth that comes with integration of the teachings. She shares their early revelations in an attempt to share as they go on to explore deeper in what this means for their children then their grandchildren.
