Danielle Red Owl, Tawacin Was’ake Win, is a member of the Santee Sioux Nation and grew up on the Santee Indian reservation in northeastern Nebraska. Danielle graduated from the Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC) in 2000 and transplanted to Lincoln, Nebraska.

Danielle co-founded the Pink Ladies of Lincoln in 2015 with Marshall Kohtz. The Pink Ladies of Lincoln is a non-profit organization that gifts $1000 to people in need battling life-threatening illness, in and around the Lincoln community.

In 2020, Danielle began her career at PayPal, Inc. as a Senior Business Analyst. She continues to enjoy learning and innovating through process improvements in the financial services industry.

Danielle still lives in Lincoln with her nephew, Beau, and fur babies, Wrigley and Fenway. Danielle travels to Santee often to spend time with family and friends.
