GAGE ARCAND
As a Cree from Alexander First Nation, with more than 20 songs on all platforms as YNG Bear, Gage has written and created stories through song and poetry for most of his life.
Fighting the effects of intergenerational trauma he uses creativity in lyricism and storytelling as an escape from the daily struggles and anxieties in which he works with the youth on using those skills as tools to help and inspire others.
An idealist with many different projects planned from songs and music videos to books and screenplays to further inspire creativity and community for all people.
Tattooed onto his chest he bears his personal mantra, “Live 2 Learn, Learn 2 Love, Love 2 Live” which is a full circle saying encouraging readers and believers to find what they love to do and live by it.
